The Duchess of Cornwall open Mathieson-Ingham's new Head Office

The official opening of UK Liability specialist Mathieson Inghams new Head Office at The Newby Hall Stables, Ripon, North Yorkshire, takes place on 13th July 2006.

The Stables is to be opened by Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall. The Stables form part of the Newby Hall Country House and Estate. Mathieson Ingham benefit from the largest offices with over 2,500 sq. feet of floor space and facilities to accommodate over 30 staff.

Martin Mathieson, Director of Claims comments We are delighted that we have now been able to centralise our Head Office. The Stables provides easy access to major road networks and is an ideal working environment for our Staff. The facilities are also very conducive to Client visits.

The expansion has been necessary to service new contract wins and an increasing client base. Coupled with other initiatives, it serves to emphasise our long term commitment to the casualty claims market.

The feedback that we are receiving from Clients is that during the last decade, there has been a recognised void in the liability sector of the claims adjusting market. Established players have formed bolt-on on liability units with varied success and not always meeting the needs and requirements of the Insurance industry. Some new startups , whilst good intentioned, have not always fulfilled their promise. In our view, there needs to be an injection of passion for both claims investigation and management services. Often arguments are lost as a consequence of poor investigation techniques, inexperience and need to explore all avenues of enquiry. This inevitably leads to financial leakage and the handling process thus becomes unnecessarily protracted.

The Mathieson-Ingham business model is based on highly technical, personal customer focus service.
